From engineering to human-centered design

With a degree in engineering and chemistry, I learned to think analytically, solve problems step by step, and pay close attention to detail. In labs, every variable mattered and I carry that same mindset into design.

Fun fact
Even before I knew what UX was, I loved visual problem-solving. One of my first wins was creating a university emblem in Microsoft Paint (yes, Paint!), and it actually won.

Great design happens when creativity meets real user needs

Moving to the U.S. with very basic English was my most profound lesson in design. I experienced firsthand what it’s like to face barriers and crave clarity. That experience shaped how I design. I focus on making things simple, accessible, and easy to use because I know what it feels like to be on the other side, struggling to understand.

I start by getting to know the people who will use what I create, sharing drafts early, and refining quickly with feedback. For me, good design isn’t just about how it looks. It should save time, cut friction, and make everyday tasks easier.

Shaped by diverse projects

Chatham Financial

UX Design Intern, Jun 2024 – Aug 2024
Mapped a complex financial workflow into service blueprints and prototyped secure data access management. The work improved audit readiness and gave managers clearer visibility into processes, supporting accountability and trust.

Lutron Electronics

Contract Visual Designer, Mar 2024 – May 2024
Created a scalable design system that unified 10+ fragmented web properties and supported the redesign of 100+ pages.

Perceive Now

Contract UX Designer, Jul 2022 – Jun 2023
At Perceive Now, an AI startup, I co-designed a 50+ page MVP platform that helped executives and scientists cut research time from weeks to minutes.
Alongside feature design, I led the creation of a lean design system. This improved consistency across pages, cut design cycles by 20%, and enabled developers to reuse components for faster delivery.

EPAM Systems

UX Design Trainee, Jan 2020 – Oct 2020
At EPAM, I worked on early-stage conceptual projects, including interactive museum experiences. I contributed to research, UI design, and prototypes, learning how to translate complex content into clear, engaging interfaces.

Outside of Work

When I’m not designing, I’m exploring new places, diving into interior design ideas, or getting lost behind a camera lens.

I'm just an email away :)

If you’re looking for a designer, I’d love to hear from you.
